Two things to share about this otherwise casual look today. First, given that baseball season is finally in full swing (har, har), I decided to show off my team spirit and sport a little orange for my Giants. And second, time to dust off those jean jackets ladies. We've gotten the green light to safely sport them once again! (Although I'm willing to bet many of us never really put them away. Am I right?!)

You know what never quite gets old? Playing dress up! Over the past couple of days, I've had the pleasure of oggling over (and then trying on!) some of the most gorgeous Hervé Léger dresses, on loan from The Outnet. While this typically looser-silhouette-loving gal gravitates more toward relaxed, blousey tops and printed pants (much to the chagrin of my boyfriend, mind you), I have to admit, walking around in such iconic statement dresses really makes you strut! And I mean, strut ladies in the best, most I-feel-like-a-woman kind of way!

Needless to say, it was fun channeling my inner Jessica Rabbit!

Hitting the ground running this week -- in heels no less -- so for the next coule of days, I'm all about some of my basics mixed and matched. That means a lot of silk button front blouses and pencil skirts. But that doesn't mean we can't play around with some patterns, right? Gotta keep things interesting, after all!

Things have been pretty non-stop lately -- luckily, it wasn't anything a little weekend recharge up at Lake Tahoe couldn't fix. Our 48-hour jaunt included a much needed movie marathon, wine and watching a light snow fall outside. All in all, it was just what I was hoping for!

I think I may have found a new favorite color combination: ultramarine blue and emerald green. Can't believe it's taken me this long to discover it -- just means I'll have to make up for lost time and find fun ways to incorporate it more into the daily rotation.

After posting about my new found street style obsession here, I finally gave into the craving. (Asos offered too many great, budget-friendly alternatives to turn down!) And while I love continuing the citrusy yellow around these parts I can't wait to pair these pants with a matching mint sweater and collared blouse combo.
