I originally bought this dress to wear to my good friends Irene and Charles' wedding in Maui back in January (you may recall from this post and this post). Of course, after much closet shuffling and re-shuffling since then, it's been pushed to the very back, out of sight and definitely out of mind. Luckily, I rediscovered it again this past Sunday and it made for the perfect lazy afternoon outfit up at Alamo Square (where I may or may not have been caught up in my latest book obsession, er, guilty pleasure).

Stripes upon stripes for a day of window shopping and playing tourist around San Francisco. After living here for over two years, I still enjoy getting lost in this city -- just doesn't get old!

You may recall this feathered number from a recent Currently Craving post -- and now I can gladly say it's been added it to the Just Caved list. I've always had a soft spot for crisp white blazers -- but one with a feathered trim? It had me at "hello!" Plus, if that wasn't enough to truly convince me, Anh's all white outfit with this particular blazer is nothing short of amazing and relieved any remaining doubts I had.

One of my favorite spring trends right now? Floral jeans! And man, I'm pretty smitten with this Current/Elliot pair. Yep, I think we'll be getting along just fine for the warmer months ahead, with lots of breezy tanks and slouchy, off-the-shoulder sweaters.

I've been pinning several incarnations of this outfit (best example: see here) over the past couple of weeks and finally decided to recreate it myself. The jacket lends a very utilitarian feel overall, while the skirt adds some much needed whimsy! 

Of course, this is in stark contrast to yesterday's pretty in pink post where I channeled my inner Betty Draper does Prada, minus the darling retro car heels (sigh). Wore this little jacquard number to eat a quick lunch at the de Young Museum a few weekends back. I love how such a feminine, all pink outfit can still pack a little bit of edge to it (hello bare midriff peeking through!). I had been eyeing it on Asos for a few days and finally decided to pull the trigger -- glad I did! But now it has me eyeing a few other lovelies on the Asos dresses page (see exhibit A, B and C).

Now, if I could just find these Pradas miraculously discounted somewhere to go with this outfit, I'd be one very happy girl!
