I think these types of outfits are my hands-down favorite. Crisp color combination, casual jacket and a bit of oomph added with the accessories. Not too fussy, not too casual, but just right.
I would be lying if I didn't admit to wearing some sort of variation of this outfit quite a bit on the weekends. It's just too perfect for brunch, running errands, window shopping and everything in between. In short, it never lets me down.
>What do you put on repeat for the weekends? Spill!
Stella McCartney skirt, via The Outnet (at a steal of a price, too!)
I know you guys don't need me to tell you how The Outnet opened the flood gates of awesomeness a few weeks ago with their Stella McCartney collection. While many of the pieces are oh-so-tempting, I had my eye on the prize (aka the Spring 2011 beauty above) and luckily pounced before they sold out. Oranges and lemons in skirt form? Oh, yes please! After all, a little Vitamin C goes a long way.
And on that note, I hope you all have a wonderful, sun-filled weekend!

To see the rest of last week's Thvm's "Artist Series" party at one of my new favorite SF boutiques, Bastille, I suggest you start clicking away right here! You might see a familiar face (or two!).
I know I don't typically stray from writing about fashion and lifestyle related topics here on This Time Tomorrow, but after watching this video last night, I felt compelled to share it with all of you. Please, if you have 30 minutes to spare today -- be it during your lunch break, in between meetings or perhaps right now while you finish your cup of coffee before work -- watch this video about violent guerilla group leader Joseph Kony and why he must be stopped. And if you can, I encourage you to share it.
For more information, including how you can get involved, visit the official Kony 2012 site here.

I know I said this about yesterday's post, but I think these photos might actually be my true favorite. As you may know, Wes and I teamed up to shoot my Matchbook Magazine feature and when I mentioned this outfit, we both found it fitting to be shot right by the water near the Bay Bridge, in hopes that the wind would catch the skirt just right. And the wind, well, she certainly didn't disappoint!
In other news, stay tuned later today when I announce the winner of the Breil watch giveaway! So many great entries, guys. I loved reading your comments!
And as always, thank you so much for reading! I can't express how fortunate I feel to have such wonderful readers like yourself! It truly makes my day, every day.
UPDATE: The winner of the Breil watch giveaway is Nicole from Giraffe Legs! Nicole, I'll be emailing you shortly! Congratulations!

As promised, here's one of my looks from this month's Matchbook Magazine feature and it's probably, hands down, one of my favorite. Not only am I just a sucker for peplum tops and bold printed pants, but Wes Sumner captured some unbelievable sunset light in these photos, no?
As of yesterday, I couldn't be more tickled to tell all of you that I've been featured in the March issue of Matchbook Magazine! And since I'm running unbelievably late this morning (per usual, I know), I figured I might scoot you over there to check it out.
Special thanks to Katie and Mackenzie for having me and of course, to the talented Wes Sumner, who was the man behind the lens for it! I can't stop blushing, guys. Seriously!
I'll be posting more from our photo shoot throughout next week but in the meantime, hope you enjoy the sneak peek above!

While in New York just a few weeks back, Heather and I had a fan girl moment outside of the Prabal Gurung show when we spotted this stylish lady ducking into a town car. Unfortunately, we weren't quick enough to snap her picture (she's mighty speedy in those pumps of hers!) but as evidenced by the snaps above, I took a few cues from her perfectly styled jacket-upon-jacket look. And you know what, I rather like the results!
How about you guys? Try any jacket layering lately? Would love to seem them! Please share your links below in the comments!
Also, on a side note, if you haven't already entered my Breil watch giveaway, I strongly suggest you do! The clock is ticking (har, har!).

After hunting for this skirt in the Topshop flagship store in NYC a few weeks ago, I finally broke down and snatched it online. The grid pattern and exaggerated full shape had me at hello.
I don't know about you, but I could certainly use a Monday pick-me-up right about now. And what better way to kick off the week than with a watch giveaway from the lovely folks over at Breil!? You all saw how I styled up my own white and rose gold Breil watch on Friday and without further ado, here's how you can snag your own!
1.) Like This Time Tomorrow on Facebook 2.) Leave a comment below describing how you would style your own Breil watch. 3.) Check back on Tuesday March 6, when I'll be selecting a winner!
And the fine print: In order to win, you must be able to provide a US or Canada shipping address. Only one entry per person please. (But if you scoot on over to Meghan's and Rebecca's blogs right now, you can enter to win their watches as well!)
Good luck everyone and here's to a productive week!
Ever since I stumbled upon this gem of a blog (hint: Taylor Tomasi Hill overload!) I can't stop myself from trying to recreate some of her signature looks. (I have this photo to thank for the outfit above.) Of course, my accessory supply is quite dismal in comparison to hers but I recently received this crisp white and rose gold watch from Breil that helped breathe some much needed life into my arm candy collection.
And since we're long overdue for a style challenge around these parts, check out how my dear friends Meghan and Rebecca styled their Breil watches. Who knows, if you like what you see, you might even be able to win our watches! Interested? I know you are! Be sure to tune in on Monday for more details.
Reorganized the closet recently and was happily reunited with this skirt (it was hiding in the very back). Don't you just hate it when good skirts go missing like that?!

Many thanks for all the birthday wishes this past Sunday! In all honesty, I couldn't have asked for a better day -- went wine tasting out in Sonoma with the man friend (where we were greeted with plenty of sunshine) followed by a delicious dinner at The Girl and the Fig (also in Sonoma). When it really boils down to it, just give me some good wine, cheese and a California sunset and I'm a happy girl.
How was your weekend? Any adventures you'd like to share?

After spotting a ton of monochromatic looks out in New York just last week -- I'm doubling up on a lot of my go-to colors, mint green being among the first. Considering this look really is just a comfy knit sweater and kick-around jeans (that I threw on for a quick sunset walk through Golden Gate Park), I rather like how whimsical it came out -- whimsical with a dash of cheeky.
Up next? I think a pale pink combo might have to make an appearance soon. Stay tuned!

Please excuse the briefness but just wanted to send a quick hello from the long weekend -- hope you're enjoying it with good friends! We're experiencing quite a warm February week here in San Francisco so I'm eager to get outside and enjoy it in Golden Gate Park.

Just some Instagram shots from my New York City jaunt last weekend! While my feet recover, let's play a game -- Can you spot Taylor Tomasi Hill, Bill Cunningham and Brad Goreski in the snaps above?
Happy Friday everyone! Any plans for the long weekend ahead?
I love a good color story and Rachel Roy certainly delivered just that. The gem tone greens, cerulean blues, rich eggplant purples and earthy yellows -- combined in such fun ways! My favorite has to be the chunky knit kelly green sleeveless sweater paired with a royal blue turtleneck underneath and an a-line leather skirt. The silhouette is perfectly simply but the color juxtaposition gives it some extra oomph.

And here we are, yet another floral on floral look that I wore to the Prabal Gurung show. Remember my first floral suit? Well, I think it started a bad little addiction now -- I can't seem to stop pairing all sorts of matching prints!
There are no words to describe my experience at the Prabal Gurung show. Aside from spotting some of my all-time favorite style icons in the crowd from Ms. Taylor Tomasi Hill herself to the always charming (and always smiling) Bill Cunningham, the pieces in the show literally took my breath away. Exaggerated visors. Sheer embellished trains on gowns sprinkled with feathers. Gunmetal collars emblazoned with longhorns. Dramatic side slits.
Such a perfect mix of evening glamour and quirky edge. Needless to say, I'm still pinching myself after this one!
Want more? Be sure to check out my good friend Heather's coverage of the backstage madness that ensued just before the models hit the runway! Still want more? Stay tuned later today to see what I wore to the show.

This is what I wore on our last day in the city -- fitting for a quick run over to the always stunning Rachel Roy presentation at Lincoln Center (pics to come soon!) before jetting off to JFK. While the weekend certainly did not disappoint, I would be lying if I said I wasn't happy to return to weather that actually warrants bare legs in February (hello high 50s and low 60s -- how I've missed you!).
From the fur accents, nomad-inspired prints to the rich burgundy lip on the models, how could I not share some of my favorite detail shots from Christian Cota's presentation? Southwestern gypsy at it's finest! Special thanks to the lovely folks over at IFB who invited me to the presentation -- definitely a highlight of the weekend!
It's been a crazy (but wonderful!) past few days catching up with friends, new and old, running to a few shows and generally taking in the craziness that is Fashion Week. Oh, and yes, the baseball cap finally made its debut!
Ah, yes, it's that time of year again! New York Fashion Week! And with any luck, I'll be bringing some of our California weather to New York (because I'm totally not prepared for sub 40 degree weather!). While my trip is indeed a short one -- arriving today and flying back out on Monday -- my suitcase is surprisingly, or perhaps not that surprisingly, heavy with one too many pairs of shoes
Of course, things are already shaping up to be a whirlwind as I seemed to have failed at documenting some of the first things that got thrown into the suitcase selects pile. In it's place? I figured I would share some of my Pinterest pins that have helped me visualize what outfits I wanted to wear while in New York. My top contenders include:
1.) All floral suit a la Céline: I rocked this Asos floral suit a few weeks back. Me thinks it's time for round two, this time with a sturdy boyfriend jacket thrown over my shoulders.
2.) Batter up: After sitting this trend out at first, I've fully embraced the quirkiness that is wearing a sporty baseball cap with flirty dresses. Many thanks to my Twitter friends who helped me track one down right before my flight!
4.) Mellow yellow: As I've professed before, I'm having a major yellow moment, which should prove handy as I think it might be the perfect sunny remedy for an otherwise gloomy forecast.
Will I be seeing any of you guys out there? If so, what did you pack?!

Going to keep it short and sweet today and instead extend BIG happy birthday wishes to a certain special man friend today! Yes, you sir -- you know who you are. I can't thank you enough for all your support and, of course, your uncanny ability to always make me smile. I'm lucky to have you in my life! Here's to the big, bad 2-6!
