If you've been following along on Snapchat, you may have heard the whisperings of a Utah road trip in the works. Well, the day is finally here! I'm heading out west with a few good friends, a lot of good tunes and an open heart for any and all kind of adventure that may await us. As someone who grew up primarily in a desert environment, I'm looking forward to some dry, arid heat and blazing, pink sunsets (god, I miss those sunsets!). We'll be hitting up a slew of national parks along the way (Arches, Zion, Bryce etc.), for hiking, sunrise yoga, horseback riding (fingers crossed), who knows, maybe some rafting and fishing. Anything goes in the wild west!
If you have any recommendations for what to see or do in the greater Utah/northern Arizona area, please do let me know here in the comments!
Now, as for packing. Given that we're walking into a late summer situation over there, I've stocked up on a rotation of breezy summer dresses with light layers for when it gets cooler at night (since yes, there will be lots of stargazing!) -- but what I'm most excited about? Living in activewear for the next few days. Especially with Fashion Week behind us, it'll be nice to just start each day with a brisk run through the canyons before switching into some hiking gear for midday treks. I'm particularly excited about these boots by Sorel, which will be perfect with some jean cut off shorts, a bandana neck scarf and a loose tank -- perhaps for when we finally head to this beauty of a spot
