If you've followed This Time Tomorrow for a while now, you probably already know I have a thing for rooftops. Take the first formative years of this blog for instance -- I practically shot all of my outfit photos up on the roof of my first apartment building in San Francisco. 

What I always regret though is not taking advantage of said rooftop for it's lounging potential (but I also partially blame San Francisco's finicky weather for that, too). It's funny to think how often I went up there each day to snap photos and capture the view, but never thought to tote a bottle of wine or prepare a dinner for two up there. So you can imagine my delight when I found out my new building here in New York not only has a little courtyard out back (perfect for late night breaks with Elvis) but also a pretty decent rooftop spread, flanked by the Hudson and a pretty mean sunset on one side and the Empire State and Chrysler Building on the other.

 Now that our temps are slowly rising, I've been making more of a point to pop up here with friends, a bottle of wine, a few good books and magazines and simply listen to the city buzz around us. It's quickly become my favorite escape these days, not to mention, a great excuse to stock up on a few new summery pieces, like this fringe bathing suit number and tribal-inspired bag from Aldo.
