Alright, alright, alright already. I've been seeing everyone sporting their military/marching band inspired jackets these days (ahem Jessica, Katy and Indiana, cough, cough) and I just had to join in, albeit a bit late.

So without further ado, I give you my marching band jacket. (Tada?!)

Unfortunately, I had one of those days where I wasn't feeling 100 percent sure about my outfit. It happens more often that I would like to admit, just a weird funk I get into when I feel rushed in the mornings, which is pretty much most mornings.

Point is, I had a quick conversation while I was waiting in line at the bank today that made me think twice. Over the course of two minutes, this 81-year-old woman basically told me that she a.) liked my outfit b.) she had just been diagnosed with breast cancer and c.) refused to ever have to use a wheelchair.

Without getting too "moral of the story" on you guys, I think the idea is pretty obvious. Perspective. You need to change it up from time to time.
