I've been pinning several incarnations of this outfit (best example: see here) over the past couple of weeks and finally decided to recreate it myself. The jacket lends a very utilitarian feel overall, while the skirt adds some much needed whimsy! 

Of course, this is in stark contrast to yesterday's pretty in pink post where I channeled my inner Betty Draper does Prada, minus the darling retro car heels (sigh).
