Introducing the new Four Seasons Philadelphia.
As someone who has never been to Philadelphia before, I can say with certainty now that I've definitely been missing out on such a rich, culture-filled city! And on top of that, the new Four Seasons Philadelphia at the top of the Comcast Technology Tower is among the crowning jewels. If you recall, I ventured over to Philadelphia a few weeks ago for the FS Philadelphia grand opening party and it was the perfect excuse to leave New York city for a few days.
The new property, which occupies the top floors of the 60 floor Comcast Technology Tower, is breathtaking -- designed by Lord Norman Foster himself (yes, the man who brought you Hearst Tower in New York, the Apple campus in Cupertino and the Millennium Bridge in London), with floral installations created by celebrity florist, Jeff Leatham. All guests go straight up to the 60th floor lobby upon checkin, for the almost 360 degree views of Philadelphia below, which is doubly impacted by the fact the entire ceiling is made up of angled mirrors, making for an infinite skyline at pretty much every vantage point.
Of course, as is customary with Four Seasons, their customer service is second to none -- one of the main reasons why I love booking a Four Seasons whenever I'm traveling. And those beds! Don't get me started.
If you happen to be venturing to the area, here's a little Philly cheat sheet of things to do, places to see, spots to eat at -- and while we were unable to check all of these spots off the list, something tells me I'll be back really soon!
- Barnes Foundation
- Walking tour through Philadelphia
- Rodin Museum
- Philadelphia Museum of Art -- and be sure to run up the "Rocky Steps" while you're there!
- Parc
- Jean-Georges
- Vernick Fish
- Rittenhouse Square
