Does this cafe look slightly familiar?
For all my Marvelous Mrs. Maisel fans, this is one of the many West and Greenwich Village locations where they filmed parts of the first season -- this cafe being the diner where her and her then husband got lunch right after their wedding. I had a hunch it looked oddly familiar when I was watching the show, but it wasn't until Nora mentioned it as we were shooting the other day that it clicked.
For all my yet to be Marvelous Mrs. Maisel fans, trust me, you won't regret signing up for Amazon Prime for this -- Rachel Brosnahan is so delightful to watch (once you forget about her as the prostitute in House of Cards), the writing is on point (the pace is akin to Gilmore Girls of yesteryear mainly because, well, it's from the same husband and wife producer duo!) and the 1950s fashion is itching that itch Mad Men left behind so many years ago.
In other news, this week has been a bit of a mash up for me. I got back from Reno early Tuesday morning and have hit the ground running since touching down at JFK. With Fashion Week right around the corner, I'm determined to get as many of my proverbial ducks in a row as possible, meaning lots of email tag, tax preparation (UGH) and catching up on as much sleep as humanly possible.
So while I dig my head in the sand over here, I wanted to share two new items that I'm absolutely obsessed over, both from & Other Stories, who graciously sent them earlier this week (thereby delaying my need to unpack, whoops!). I introduce to you, the perfect slouchy pair of leather boots (that won't break the bank like their Saint Laurent counterparts) and this deliciously oversized green wool coat (perfect for wrapping yourself up in when the wind chill factor is not in your favor).
I've been wearing both non-stop lately, especially these boots, which may be making an appearance in a "how-to" styling video soon! Would you guys be interested in seeing that? Let me know in the comments below -- Nora and I are setting aside time tomorrow and this weekend to film a bunch of a new videos and I want to make sure I hit your requests!

These babies come at just the right price point. They're great with higher waisted denim but I'm already looking forward to wearing them with midi and mini dresses alike for a more mod look." link="http://shopstyle.it/l/wtjz"][/prodl]
[prodr brand="& Other Stories" product="Wool and mohair blend long coat" description="Once I put this coat on, I started to wonder, why on Earth have I never picked up a dark forest green coat before? I love this shade with black, but I think it could be a really great topper to a winter white/neutrals outfit as well. Plus, it's perfectly oversized -- perhaps I'll try belting it next time?" link="http://shopstyle.it/l/wtj5"][/prodr]

Love the long coat and boot, love your outfit <3 All about hats
Love those boots!
Loving this look Krystal! I’ve been trying to find the perfect slouchy boots myself, I really want a pair in a fun color especially with spring right around the corner. I am also obsessed over with green wool this year. I bought a green coat and wide leg pants that I made a dress look with but I’m really digging your causal vibes in this outfit!
Best,
Jordan
