Back in February of this year, I stumbled upon this Self Portrait dress while window shopping around in Milan. Given that I was moving to New York soon after that trip, I did the responsible, adult thing and (gulp!) walked away from the dress. But not without trying it on a few times. And seriously regretting it ever since I walked away.
Fast forward several months now and that dress has been popping up everywhere (blogs, magazines, etc.), which of course, encouraged me to try to find it again. As luck would have it, my wild goose chase around the city last week left me empty handed as most stores were sold out in my size (just not meant to be!), but I did happen to fall in love with this particular dress, also by the same label. The full skirt, rich indigo blue color, sheer illusion detailing....well, it just feels very me.

And this time, I just couldn't walk away from it.
