What summer pieces are you getting ready to layer come fall?

It's that time again. Time to start scheming up ways to transition some of your summer go-tos for fall. I decided to start with this striped Prada-esque shift dress from H&M that I snagged a few months ago at the height of spring (and the height of color blocking). Thrown under a pencil skirt with some pointed toe court shoes, I think it tones down just enough for a brisk day in San Francisco.

Summer pieces that I'm looking forward to layering… Where I live I think we only had like a week's worth of summer weather. It's been absolute garbage for my wardrobe–already feels like fall. I think I'm most excited to be dressing in the right season once fall comes! And I can't wait to wear my boots again…
