How do you live your life to the beat of your own drum?
With fashion week in full force, I've been asking myself this question a lot. Namely because, when I look around the table at after-show dinner parties with my girlfriends, I'm so inspired by the women surrounding me. They're shop owners. Authors. Digital marketing trailblazers. Mothers. Wives. Bosses. Entrepreneurs. Bad. Ass. Women.
I can see the passion in their eyes and hear the excitement in their voice when we swap stories around the room about upcoming projects and endeavors. We share in each other's triumphs. And we learn from each other's failures (and celebrate them, too!). As cliche as it sounds, it's so beautiful when you can see your friends loving the lives they're creating for themselves, which in turn, inspires you to do the same.
