OUTFIT DETAILS: Christopher John Rogers dress (sold out, similar style here) // Roger Vivier shoes (gifted)

By now, I think you all know I don’t easily shy away from an excuse to dress up.

And never has there been a year in recent memory, where dressing up, for me at least, provided such a form of escape, a way of creating my own stories and memories all from the comfort of home. So as we approach the end of 2020, a year that I’m sure many of us are happy to see the back of, I, for one, will be donning something special at home, hopefully with a little jazz and mambo playing on vinyl and a cocktail in hand, with my love by my side. I know this year tested us all — in a lot hard but hopefully positive ways as well — so my hope for you all this New Year’s Eve? Dress up for the 2021 you want to have and toast yourself — you made it, that’s worthy of celebration alone. And soon enough, we’ll be able to see 2021 together. Again.

And in case you’re looking for the perfect drink to toast with this year, look no further. This Patrón cocktail kit, crafted by Muddling Memories in partnership with Olivia Palermo, the cocktail features notes of caramel, oak, elderflower and earthy palo santo, oh-so-fitting for an intimate evening at home. Here’s the recipe:

Recipe:

  • 2 oz of PATRÓN Reposado
  • 1 oz Ruby Red grapefruit

  • .75 oz Lemon juice

  • .5 oz Salted Pink Peppercorn Syrup

  • .25 oz Elderflower cordial

  • Dried edible chrysanthemum, dehydrated citrus wheel and palo santo stick for garnish

TO ENJOY:

Add all ingredients except garnishes to a cocktail shaker and shake vigorously with ice for 5-10 seconds. Strain ingredients onto fresh ice in a rocks glass. Garnish with dried flower, citrus wheel and palo santo stick.

Salud!
