There are plenty of things I LOVE about my job.

And one of my favorites will always be discovering new brands and designers that I think you guys will love just as much as I do. My latest obsession? Zayan the Label -- the namesake brand of Zayan Ghandour, a Lebanese boutique curator turned designer. I was first introduced to Zayan's work earlier last summer, when I was planning my late August trip to France and Germany. Their PR team reached out, asking me if I wanted to pick a few items to borrow from their most recent lookbook.

As you might have guessed, I ADORE getting emails like this -- it's such a serendipitous way to learn about and discover new brands. To hear about their story, their vision and the type of woman they design for. Needless to say, I found more than my fair share of pieces that caught my eye -- and you may recall a few from these posts on Instagram, here and here (and a few more that I need to publish soon from that trip!). Her aesthetic is undeniably feminine and classic in construction, with just the right amount of unique design details that inevitably make you smile -- kitschy embroidery done in a chic way, exaggerated ruffles for a healthy dash of drama and some of the most beautiful color combinations that are bound to get even the most neutral-wearing girl out of her comfort zone.

Plus, the inspiration direction for her latest resort collection is as follows:

"In homage to the princess' journey, the collection follows a fearless Maharani traveling from India to Italy in the 1950s."

If that doesn't inspire you to go on a whirlwind multiple country adventure (or at least dress up for one), then I don't know what will. To get you started, I've rounded up a few of my favorite current pieces, including this tux one shoulder top I've borrowed here. Admittedly, the shirt is a sample size (generally a size 4) and I really could have used a size 0 or 2 here (because, hello, I have no boobs!), but I think belting it gave it a more fitted, cinched silhouette. And I'm always looking for ways to incorporate this Gucci belt into outfits. It's easy to wear my Gucci earrings, although I am due a new set... My other ones will last me a lifetime but you can never have enough earrings in your draw!

Let me know what you guys think about her designs in the comments below! Which piece would you bring home with you?

[prodr brand="Zayan the Label" product="Maggie checkered midi dress" description="Clearly, I have warm weather on the brain and this gingham number is making me long for sunny picnic days ahead in Central Park. [prodl brand="Zayan the Label" product="Maya evening gown" description="Here's the color I promised! And how good is this mint green? So good in fact, it's making me crave mint chocolate chip ice cream right about now. Oh, and a sun-kissed tan would also be nice." link="http://zayanthelabel.com/product/maya-evening-gown/"][/prodl]

[prodr brand="Zayan the Label" product="Vio ruffle midi dress" description="Lately, I've been seeing so many fun color combinations across different street style round ups and it's really making me want to jump outside my comfort zone. Granted, I've worn pink and red together before, but there's something about this dress that feels so fresh perfect for standing out come cocktail hour time." link="http://zayanthelabel.com/product/vio-ruffle-midi-dress/"][/prodr]

[prodl brand="Zayan the Label" product="Tux one shoulder top" description="My latest uniform, as you guys probably know by now, is an amazing statement top, like this tux one shoulder, brooch top, with relaxed, cool-girl jeans. As I mentioned, I would size down in this top, personally, as it's a bit too big in the bust area for me, but I love how classy and retro the peplum shape is (and it's easy to belt to make it cinch and fit a bit tighter." link="http://zayanthelabel.com/product/tux-one-shoulder-top/"][/prodl]

[prodr brand="Zayan the Label" product="Mirander denim top" description="Perhaps it's just me, but I'm dying to wear this top with cropped wide leg, white jeans and a pair of espadrille flats for a bike ride along the Hudson River. Oh, and don't get me started on the bow detail! Darling!" link="http://zayanthelabel.com/product/mirander-denim-top/"][/prodr]

This post isn't sponsored by Zayan the Label and actually, none of these product links are affiliate -- I just wanted to share my latest designer crush! As always, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
