Also, I'm packing up for Australia (we head out on Wednesday) and would love any and all recs you may have for Sydney and the general North Coast area of New South Wales! It's been years since I've been in that neck of the woods so I'm excited to explore with the NSW tourism board!

Ahh you’re coming to my city! My goodness that makes me more excited than I can fathom. For nature walkings I would recommend: the Royal National Park, Manly to Spit and Bondi to Coogee (very touristy but sometimes its touristy for a reason. To see the hustle and bustle of the city, I would recommend Barangaroo (newly opened business district where I work which has amazing amazing food and boutique shopping). Next week, vivid Sydney will open on Friday so once it gets dark, there will be a ton of places lit up in the most spectacular light extravaganzas! If you have time, I would recommend doing some of these things as well: having a picnic at lavender bay (spectacular views of sydney harbour), taking a ferry from circular quay to watsons bay and then eating at the oh so cool watsons bay boutique hotel, visiting the university of sydney and then making a walk into newtown, rose berry and all the inner west suburbs for great food.
