Cape, turtleneck and pants: Ted Baker; Shoes: Saint Laurent; Bag: Chanel; Sunglasses: Celine
Given this is my first year here in New York, I'm racking up a lot of milestones. My first crazy cab driver experience (let's save that story for another day). My first (of many) celebrity sightings when they're out getting coffee (they're just like us!). My first concert at Radio City Music Hall (Hozier!). My first hurricane (not sure Joaquin really counts, but hey, it's something).
But perhaps my favorite of them all? My first fall. Like many of you, I'm sure, I'm a complete and utter hopeless romantic when it comes to fall. Something about the crispness of the air, the sudden bundling of bodies in swaths of layers, feels like something magical is always on the brink of happening. Just don't blink -- or you might miss it.
Naturally, this means shopping for fall also happens to be my favorite. So when Ted Baker asked me to share some of my fall favorites from their A/W collection, I couldn't add this checkered cape and turtleneck any faster to my cart. Now all I need is a great book to tuck under my arm before heading up to Central Park for the afternoon. Or in the case of this past weekend, an umbrella as well.
Also...psttt...Ted Baker is having a 25% off sale right now, site-wide. Just use the code: TEDS25 at checkout. You're welcome. 😉
